Paul Hardcastle Jr is available as a session musician for hire for studio sessions internationally. Paul’s musical upbringing has enabled him to master a great number of instruments, with saxophone, guitar and drums being his specialities.

When Paul was only 12 years old, his skill on the sax led to his father (Paul Hardcastle) giving Paul the opportunity to lay down some sax on one of his tracks. An impressive sax solo was featured on ‘The Circle‘, which is what would become the lead single of his father’s new album ‘The Collection‘. The album and lead single would achieve #1 in the Contemporary Jazz charts, an incredible achievement that would lay the foundations for what would become an illustrious career as a session musician for hire.

After the huge commercial success of ‘The Circle‘, over the next few years Paul’s father Paul Hardcastle would continue to collaborate with his son for a number of tracks on his incredibly successful albums which to date have sold over 20 million units worldwide.

Paul Hardcastle Sr would work with Paul Jr on several tracks on his Jazzmasters and self-titled Paul Hardcastle albums, such as Touch and Go, Take 1, Jam on This, Let This Love Begin, and many more. These collaborations led to Paul Jr being in high-demand for studio sessions with a number of high-profile smooth jazz stars. Paul collaborated with many smooth jazz artists, notably legendary American bassist Tony Saunders and many more.
